Configurar impresora con repetidor wifi
Me compre una impresora wifi, que donde la tengo puesta no consigo escanear. Si que imprimo y fotocopio, pero al escanear me da error y no lo consigo. Me compre un repetidor wifi, que he instalado, y la señal wifi me llega al 100% en la habitación donde tengo la impresora, pero sigo sin poder escanear. La pregunta es, como al instalar el repetidor, se crea como una segunda red wifi, ¿tendría qué desinstalar la impresora y volverla a instalar estando conectada a esa segunda red? Y otra cosa, es normal que pueda imprimir y hacer fotocopias, ¿pero no escanear? A lo mejor son preguntas un poco tontas, pero mis conocimientos de informática son bastante limitados ...

Pero me da que el problema no tiene nada que ver con el wifi, porque si funciona bien el imprimir es que funciona correctamente la conexión. Lo mejor es que pongas el modelo de impresora y te puedan ayudar de forma más exacta.
Tienes que cerciorarte si la impresora esta conectada a una red o a la otra.
Prueba a desinstarla, bajar los últimos drivers que haya y volverla a configurar.
Normalmente si usas los drivers originales del fabricante no debes de tener problemas a la hora de escanear ni de imprimir, ¿son esos los que has usado o has dejado que windows la detecte?
No, he usado todo del fabricante, con un disco de instalación que viene con la impresora.
¿Y qué software es el que usa para escanear?
Una aplicacion llamada IJ Scan Utility
A ver si estas instrucciones te sirven. Cuando usas el escáner en red primero hay que decirle al software que IP tiene.

Eso que me envías es un lio, y ya lo he leído antes. El caso es que el escáner si me funciona en una habitación, y en otra, en la que quiero montarme un despacho, no, y eso que ambas están a la misma distancia del router. La impresora imprime y fotocopia en ambas habitaciones, así que si no consigo que el escáner funcione en la habitación donde quiero poner el despacho, me quedan dos opciones, o intentar usar la impresora para escanear con la aplicación scanner de la tienda microsoft store, o bien, cuando quiera escanear intentar conectar la impresora al portátil con un cable usb. Ya me tiene harta la dichosa impresora! Muchas gracias por tu ayuda,
