¿Cómo descifrar este libro de excel?

La descripción que mencionas es claramente una referencia a una hoja llamada "Calculations".

Sí leí que mencionas que no hay hojas ocultas, pero es altamente probable que sí esté oculta pero con propiedad VeryHidden que impide verla cuando uno quiere averiguar si hay hojas ocultas por el método tradicional.

Intenta lo siguiente. Accede al Editor de Visual Basic (atajo: Alt + F11).

En el panel de la izquierda, suele verse un detalle de las hojas que integran el libro en cuestión.

Si, eventualmente, pudieras ver todas las hojas, Calculations debería estar con el mismo atributo "xlSheetVeryHidden" en Visible (Ver al pie de esta imagen) como le asigné a la Hoja2.

Para poder verlo, cambialo a -1-xlSheetVisible...

Sin embargo, sin ver tal archivo, afirmaría que no podrás abrir el arbol de hojas como el que se muestra en la parte superior de la imagen anterior.

Probablemente, verás solo una línea con el nombre del archivo y al darle doble click, te pediría una clave de acceso.

Es lo que yo haría si no quisiera que vean las rutinas de VBA o la estructura del archivo.

En tal caso no podrás ver mucho más. De todos modos si quieres que intente verlo, puedes enviarmelo a:

Tal cual mencionaste, ese era el caso. Al intentar desbloquear la hoja, me aparecía el siguiente mensaje:

"no se puede asignar la propiedad visible de la clase worksheet"

El libro se encontraba protegido, así que con una macro obtuve la contraseña, y al desbloquear, conseguí cambiar la hoja a visible.
