DVD Lg y Vcd

Litos 523: Estas son las instrucciones para convertir tu dvd en multiregión y a continuación para activar la lectura de vcd. Esta en ingles pero se entiende muy facil, si tienes alguna duda preguntame.
To convert your LG DV-4210 player into a multiregion player simply follow these instructions:
1. Wait for the message "No Disc" or "Region Coding Error" to appear
2. When that appears quickly press Pause, Enter, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 on the remote control.
3. Press '0' for region free, '1' for region 1, '2' for region 2, etc...
4. Press 'Pause' on the remote control
5. Turn off the player for several seconds
6. Turn on the Player
To Check Firmware:
1. Push 'Setup' on the remote control.
2. Select the TV Aspect.
3. Highlight '16:9 wide'
4. Using the remote control, key in the following numbers:
1, 3, 9, 7, 1, 3, 9
5. Press 'Enter' on the remote control
6. Press "Setup" to clear the screen.
To Enable VCD Playback:
1. Turn on the player ensuring that the tray is empty.
2. Press 'Pause' on the remote control.
3. Key in the following on the remote control:
1, 4, 7, 2
4. Press the 'Up' arrow three times and the characters 04 Fd should appear on the display (This may vary depending on the model of your player)
5. Press 'Program', '6', 'Program', '5' (the characters 04 FE should now be displayed on the display)
6. Press 'Enter'
7. Press 'Return'.
8. Turn the player off and then back on
9. Play the VCD!

Tras mucho insistir (no lograba entrar al menu de servicio) logre cambiar los datos para que leyera vcd, pero aun asi sigue sin leerlos. Solo he probado con algunos creados por mi, uno en un disco negro y otro en uno normal. Pero me da error de disco.
Alguna idea?
En otros dvd si se ven.
