B.S in Chemical Engineering,more than 12 years expertise in manufacturing most in R&D and Quality Management. I am also teaching some courses to undergraduate engineering majors on Strategic Planing, Quality Planing, Organizational Development and Introduction to Engineerig. I have four professional certifications I am an ASQ Senior Member and Certified Quality Manager( when I was preparing the constructed response of the CQM exam I had the opportunity to work with and have the feedback on the cases from Duke Okes the author of the Certified Quality Manager Handbook) I also hold the ASQ Quality Auditor and ASQ Quality Improvement Associate certifications and the APBM Certification as Business Manager. Here at Intier I switch to Quality Systems (as integrated systems manager I learn also about ISO 14000 environmental and safety regulations which makes a very interesting background), we were ISO TS 16949 registered on last October and we will be up grade to ISO 14000:2004 this year I am also working together with the materials manager in the MMOG/LE. I also understand very well the Balanced Score Card and the process management approach.
As a Company we had several awards, most improved division 2002, we were also nominated in 2003, and we have the best operational performance division 2004 award.
In these four years we turn a division that lost more than 2 million dollar in 2001 to a division with excellent performance, close to zero premium freights, more than 40 inventory turns, less than 100 ppms and more than 7 million profits at second quarter of 2005. We changed the customers and corporate perception of Intier Sabinas.
