WSOP Main Event Final Table Reached, Henderson Resident Led

Adam Walton leads the final nine players in the poker world series main event.

The Henderson-based professional poker player jumped late on the eighth day of the $10,000 Unlimited Holdham World Championship in Las Vegas on Friday and stole 143.8 million chips when action was halted.

When the final table begins at 1:30 p.m., it will overwhelmingly lead Steven Jones (90.3 million), a real estate agent from Scottsdale, Arizona. Sunday in Horschou.

The plan is to defeat four players on Sunday and win the championship on Monday. The rest of the players are guaranteed $900,000, but they are keeping an eye on the $12.1 million prize money for the winner.

"It's like a dream. It doesn't feel real," Walton said. "It was a lot of fun, an amazing experience. It hasn't really sunk in yet."

Supported by Vocal Rail, Walton beat a handful of key ports and used his big chip stack to put pressure on his opponent. He has nearly $1 million in career live tournament revenue, including 42nd place in the main event in 2021.

Walton's biggest career cash came in December when he finished second at the World Poker Tour World Championship in Win Las Vegas with $283,072.

Atlanta's Daniel Weinman came in third with 81.7 million chips and saw a surge in chip numbers thanks to one of the tournament's funniest ports. Wineman all-in against the two players who held the worst hands, but he made a jack set in the turnaround and held hands.

The final table will have a decisive European taste, with six of the nine players coming from abroad. Juan Maseiras (Spain), who entered the day as a chip lead, fell to fifth place. 스포츠토토

Daniel Holzner, an Italian apple farmer whose girlfriend, friends and family bought him for the main event for his 30th birthday, hit a three-outter against Maseiras early in his 10th hand play and was ranked eighth on the chip.

Toby Lewis, a Las Vegas resident from the UK, is the best player at the final table with over $8.2 million in career income and three online WSOP Circuit rings awarded to tournament wins.

Lewis recovered from his bluff on Day 5 and made a massive layoff on Day 7 to help him reach this point. He will have a shortfall after spending most of the day close to his leaders.
