Full Tilt jala slot adds podcasts

Living up to their slogan, learn from the pros, Full Tilt Poker recently added a multimedia section to their website. In this section you can get tips from the pros in the form of podcasts and vodcasts which are like audio and video blogs.

After seeing howard lederers no limit My favorite one so far is Chris Fergusons podcast on bankroll management. Two years ago he challenged himself to build a bankroll jala slot 428 out of $1 playing online no limit holdem using discipline and bankroll management. He would only play a limit if he had 20 buy ins, which is 5% of his bankroll, and drop down a limit if he had less then that. He ended up turning that dollar into over $20,000 in 3 months without ever breaking the 20 buy-in rule. I know a bunch of NWP members that can learn from this.

Sunday poker tournaments: 01/29/06

¿Should these be called Sunday poker tournaments or Sunday lotteries? Well the last week of every month theyre always a little bit less lottery like. Both Party Poker and PokerStars raise the buy-in causing them to have less players, and PokerStars adds deeper stacks and slower blind levels. Still, you need everything to go right for you and wrong for the other players for 8 hours to get to the final table.

My strategy for tournaments with a huge field is playing tight and aggressive for the most part. You want to keep your chips and take as few risks as possible. Wait for good hands and let other people make mistakes. A lot of loose and aggressive players will always try to outplay you and just end up dumping chips to you. Avoid 50/50s and if youre going to go all in during a marginal situation be the one pushing. That way you can also win if the other player folds and it shows the players not to mess with you. After a few hours, tournaments usually turn into an all-in or fold fest anyway. With huge blinds and antes you can go from nearly being out to having a dominating stack of chips by just winning a few gambles or the other way around.

Well here are the results for this weeks big online poker tournaments. The final five in the PokerStars tournament all made a deal and I didnt get the exact prize amounts. Without a deal first place would have been $222,000.00

A day in the life of…

So today was another example of how extreme the swings have been getting lately. I start off today losing 1100 dollars right off the bat online. Five hundred of it was at 5/10 and the other six was at 15/30. I ended up taking a nap that lasted like 8 hours. I sleep like a baby after a loss for some reason. After I wake up I join a 5/10 short handed table and a full 10/20 table. The six handed table ended up being a good match up for me. Sometimes I have problems with them but I netted about 200 dollars. I caught a little bit of fire at the 10/20 table and made almost 550 dollars. I felt real comfortable there b/c it was a full table and I knew almost everyone at it b/c they all usually played 5/10.

So about an hour and a half after waking up I put an almost 750 dollar dent in my 1100 dollar deficet for the day. I headed to the Bellagio at about 11:30 pm and was hoping to try to break even on the day. I started out good and was within a hundred bucks of breaking even. My table was pretty good. I had at it Stanley Steamer and Lady I Would Seriously Consider Punching in the Face.

If you have ever seen Stanley Steamer before you will immediately know who I am talking about. He where sunglasses, has two ipods with him, a psp, and a sidekick. The guy needs his own fuse box. Anyways, he is always, I mean always on full blown tilt. He plays about 50% percent of his hands, the vast majority of them by just calling, and gets pissed if he has to fold. I mean if he has to fold, he is angry, literally. I’ve never seen him do good. I have no clue how this guy stays in the game.

Lady I Would Seriously Consider Punhing in the Face never wins either. She always buys in for like 200 bucks and rebuys a whole bunch. She loves calling and being a bitch. Im pretty sure Ive never seen her fold a blind to a raise or 3 bet. To be fair, she does raise her fair share of weak hands also. I cannot beat this bitch and it couldn’t bother me more.

To make an already long story a little shorter, I won $145 in this game. I was pretty disappointed. I took some nasty beats and will highlight a few:

Bitch opens for a raise, gets 3 Bet, and I four bet out of the SB with AA and they both call. Flop comes 773. I bet, bitch raises, other guy folds, I 3 bet, she 4 bets, I 5 bet, she calls. Turn is a ten and I bet and she calls. River is a King, I bet she raises. Fuck she hit her KK I think and call. ¿No she hit her 1010!@!!! WTF? ¿I 4 bet out of the blind and she doesnt slow down on the flop until it gets to 5 bets?!?!? This type of shit always happens to me against her. Sometimes people hit 2 outers, no problem, but only she is stupid enough to put 9 small bets in before she gets there.

Stanely Steamer open limps and I raise with 99. The flop is 10 8 2 and he check calls me. Turn is a 4 and he check calls me. River is a 3 and he checks and I check behind (I probably should have bet) and say “nines” and we flips over A5 for the back door gutterball straight! I was astonished. I didnt say anything but the guy next to me did. He snaps off, “well this guy is raising like every pot, I was going to call him down with Ace high”. Bullshit excuse to play like a tard. First of all, I raise any pot I enter first in. Second of all, I wasn’t playing that many hands. And third of all, this guy would go literally insane if someone did that to him.
