No me funciona internet

No consigo meterme en internet. He llamado a Terra y dicen que no es problema de la conexion.
Al encender el ordenador salen 2 cuadros de diálogo seguidos:
1º Error al cargar C:\Archiv-1\Newdot1
El sistema no puede hallar el archivo especificado
2º Norton antivirus no pudo iniciar la protección del correo electrónico.
Tras aceptar, funciona todo el sistema opertaivo pero no puedo accedera internet.
¿Que puedo hacer?

Distintas respuestas que he encontrado por ahí, la tercera es la oficial de MS, si con eso no se soluciona nada ya no se que mas se puede hacer. Prueba primero con la solución de MS, aunque sea mas larga esta respaldada por los que fabrican el SO.
1-
Para quienes tengan el problema de bloqueo del internet por borrar o desinstalar incorrectamente el newdot. Yo lo pude hacer así: hay una página: www.cexx.rg/lspfix.htm donde se puede descargar un programa para solucionar el error, esta en ingles, pero es facil de instalar. Lo malo es que sigue el aviso de error al abrir windows, pero al menos desbloquea el internet.
2-De todos modos, si el problema está en que cuando arrancas windows dice que te falta el fichero .dll de new dot, vete a inicio/ejecutar/msconfig, vas a la pestaña de inicio y desmarcas la casilla que hace referencia al newdot de marras. Reinicias el ordenador y se acabó el mensaje de inicio de windows sobre este dll.
3 - Y por último la respuesta oficial de MS, esta te recomiendo que la copies y la pegues en word y podrás leerla bien.

Symptoms
When you attempt to connect to the Internet, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.

Rundll32 caused an invalid page fault in module Unknown at 0000
-Or-
Cannot find Newdot~1.dll
-Or-
Error Loading C:\Windows\newdot~3.dll. The system cannot find the file specified.
-Or-
Rundll32 has caused an error in newdotnet3_20.dll. Rundll will now close.
When you click the Details button, the following information is displayed:
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in module Unknown at address
-Or-
SAVENOW executed an invalid instruction in module Unknown at address
You cannot browse the Internet. You have verified that your computer does not contain a virus.
Cause
This issue may occur in any of the following situations:
You install a program that installs the New.net Application plug-in program.
You install a program that installs the SaveNow program.
You installed a program that installs the New.net plugin program and a file is missing or damaged. Usually, this will be either the Newdotnet3_20.dll or the Newdotnet2_98.dll file that is missing or damaged.
Resolution
To work around this issue, use the method that is appropriate for your situation.
Method 1: New.net Application Is Installed
Remove the New.net Application plug-in. To do this, follow these steps:
NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
Quit all programs.
On the taskbar, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, click the New.net program on the Install/Uninstall tab, and then click Add/Remove. If you are prompted to confirm the removal, click Yes.
In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, click OK.
In Control Panel, double-click Internet Options.
In the Internet Options dialog box, on the General tab, under Temporary Internet files, click Settings.
In the Settings dialog box, click View Objects.
In the Downloaded Program Files dialog box, if a tldctl2c Class item appears in the Program File list, right-click it, and then click Remove on the shortcut menu that appears.
You receive a message similar to the following:
tldctl2c Class will be removed permanently.
¿Are you sure?
Click Yes.
On the File menu, click Close.
In the Settings dialog box, click OK.
In the Internet Properties dialog box, click OK, and then quit Control Panel.
Restart the computer.
Method 2: SaveNow Is Installed
Remove the SaveNow program. To do this, follow these steps:
Quit all programs.
On the taskbar, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, click SaveNow on the Install/Uninstall tab, and then click Add/Remove. If you are prompted to confirm the removal of SaveNow, click Yes.
Click WhenUShop, and then click Add/Remove. You receive a removal confirmation message. Click Yes.
Internet Explorer starts and opens a Web page similar to the following:

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and then click Submit.

Quit Internet Explorer.
